Turkey Meet Recap

The 8 and Under YOTA Turkey Meet was held at Ravenscroft pool on November 14th and 15th.  The meet was just absolutely amazing.  The parents and coaches battled the extreme heat to see many unbelievable swims.  

Every swimmer had at least one best time, and some improved many times.  Each coach managed to lose their voice by the end of the weekend, due to all of the excitement.  The coaching staff could not be more proud of our swimmers!

This meet had a variety of experience swimmers, many of which were first time swimmers, with a lot of nervous energy.  One of the most remarkable swims was on Sunday.  Dylan Coonse, one of our youngest swimmers (age 4) completed the 25 yard freestyle legally.  Everyone in the pool applauded his success.  

We had many top 5 finishes in this meet.  Below are a list of the swimmers that finished top 5, however, every swimmer is to be commended on a job well done!  Summarizing this meet in one word - AMAZING!
